May 26th and 27th the Friends of Rogers Memorial Library will hold a half-price sale at the Book Shop in Cooper Hall, the White House next to the Library in Southampton Village. They will be offering more than 400 art and photography books (plus a few thousand in other categories) at very low prices during the sale. Dave Johns will be there to answer any questions. Enter down the steps at the back of the building or use the other back entrance and take the elevator down to L.



For the past 31 years, NYFA has awarded fellowships of $7,000 to individual originating artists living in New York State and/or Indian Nations located in New York State.

We created the Love The Island brand and the smiling Island logo because we love where we live – it makes us smile. But when you learn that LI Cares delivers food to over 284,000 food insecure people on Long Island a year – it’s hard to smile.

Therefore, we are seeking Long Island artists including students, amateurs, and professionals to create their interpretation using our smiling Love The Island logo to both help us raise funds for Long Island Cares and to showcase their work and earn extra income.

Love The Island will donate a minimum of $1,000 to Long Island Cares, regardless of the number of shirts sold by 12/31/18.
