hello and happy new year everyone!!
one or two things regarding our ‘art at town hall’ program…….
first, thanks to everyone who is participating in our second annual group saa show at town hall. it is a beautiful show and i hope you will all get a chance to stop by town hall to see it before january 31, 2014. this group show is an annual saa event. we will start collecting names for the december 2014 – january 2015 show in the fall of 2014.
we also had a ‘town hall employee’ art show in november that was a great success. town hall employees had a chance to appreciate their coworkers’ talents and beautiful artwork.
for our monthly one-person shows at town hall, we are fully booked for all of 2014 and most of 2015 (only february and november are still available). for 2016, january, august and december are taken, all the other months are available. bravo everyone!! if there is anyone who would like to sign up for 2016, please email me and i will put you down for whatever month you desire!!

if you are on this list but will be unable to participate, please let me know as soon as possible.
please refer to www.southamptonartists.org “art in town hall” tab for all information as well as the contract and other materials needed to show at town hall. please remember that shows are hung and taken down on the last weekday of each month.
also of note, there is one change to the basic rules of who is eligible to show at town hall (check out our website for the full rules) which is that only those people who have active email addresses (by “active” i mean that emails are read and responded to on a timely basis) may participate. if you read and reply to your emails once or twice a month, please do not sign up.
i have a list of artists who would be available if we are faced with a cancellation at the last minute during the year. please let me know if you would like your name to be added to the list. if the assigned artist cancels for any reason, i will use this list to find a replacement.
if you are interested in helping out with this ‘art in town hall’ program, please let me know. i could sure use some backup!
