Meet The Artist Reception September 6, 4 – 6pm
Fine Art Photographer Anthony Lombardo is exhibiting his photographs at the Mattituck Library September 3 to 30 with a meet the artist reception September 6, 4 – 6pm. Mr Lombardo will be bringing his beautiful black and white photographs of the East End beaches and marshes. He will also be exhibiting photographs of our amazing night scapes of the Milky Way and Star Trails over popular East End locations. On September 6 from 4 – 6pm Mr. Lombard will be on site to answer questions and to talk about photography and art.
Mr. Lombardo fell in love with photography as a 12 year old on a school trip to the Empire State Building. Looking through a view finder and clicking the shutter can record a moment and a feeling. Mr.Lombardo worked for over twenty years in the photo industry. He managed advertising photo studios, had his own studio providing point of purchase advertising photos, and worked as a Forensic Medical Photographer. As a fine art photographer Mr. Lombardo has been exhibiting his work since the 1980’s. His work has been reviewed in the New York Times, Newsday, The San Francisco Chronicle, and many local community newspapers.
