Dear SAA members, it with great sadness that I have to inform you that Aura Levitas, one of our founders, has passed away. As you know, Aura was the wife of Mr Levitas who willed to Cultural Center the monies to rebuild the art gallery and construct the theatre. Aura was a staunch supporter of SAA and often exhibited her collage and constructive art in our shows. She was a warm and feeling person; she often wore her friendly smile. She wrote several books based on her life experiences. Thank you Aura for all that you have done for SAA.
