May 25 Reception for Memorial Member Show

. . . the place to be for a great exhibition and reception for our members show.

The proof is in the pudding, an old cliche, but it works here! The guest book showed 212 came to see our show. Another 30 plus did manage to get by the greeter as crowds came all at once; isn’t that wonderful. Crowds!

The echoes of conversation, everywhere filled the gallery. Some folks said “I never came here before, but I was drawn to the music outdoors.” Also said after viewing and mixing with the artists/guests, she came back and I gave her an application at her request to join our group.

We must be doing something right. The stickers used are now being requested, by some, so that’s a given, they work.

Congratulations, Arthur Andersen for his Grand Entrance print sold to someone who had a sentimental relationship with the piece and shared that with me during the sale.

Our new members were pleased to be members and not visitors, as told to me while I greeted folks at the door. If smiles mean anything, everyone I saw had one at some point during the 4-6 time slot. The positive comments continued to flow. Thanks to our President and the Mrs., our music man Glen, without knowing, drew people to our show, our folks behind the scenes who work for our organization, tirelessly and to those who prepare the bounty at our reception table, many thanks.

Our next exhibit will be at The Rogers Memorial Library for the month of June and a reception will be June 6th. Then our annual Art in the Park, to take place July 19th and 20th so watch for information for participation, that’s always a winner.

Till next we meet, God bless
