I am pleased to report that our outdoor Art in the Park show appears to have been very successful. We had 50 exhibitors and many of them were delighted with their sales. The weather was fine and the number of visitors surpassed last year.
I wish to offer special thanks to the following SAA members:
— John Maranov, Jim Wightman and Chuck Seaman who helped lay out the sites for the tents.
— Chuck and Nancy Polis for their advertising efforts.
— Paul Dempsey, Danielle Leef and Steve Gravano for the design and placement of the tressel sign. Also, Paul arranged radio advertising and Danielle carried out public relations, contacting art exhibit advertisers.
— Jim Witker and Mike Meehan who furnished our posters which featured a painting by a former SAA president: Jo-Ann Corretti.
We had many visitors to our SAA booth and sold three pictures.
