Art from the Heart: A Community of Artists Helps a Community in Need
Once again, on November 2, the Southampton Artists Association will host a reception and art exhibit to benefit Heart of the Hamptons.
Last year, the Southampton Artists Association raised enough money to provide more than 2500 meals to those in need via the amazing Heart of the Hamptons. This caring Southampton organization provides a safety net of food and other vital services to over 4500 local residents in need. This year alone 600,000 meals were distributed.
The Southampton Artists Association members are offering 10” by 10” works of art to be sold at $200 each. Heart of the Hamptons will receive half. One sale provides 50 meals.
All are welcome to come, meet and mingle with the artists and Heart of the Hamptons staff and volunteers. The exhibit runs from November 1- November 23.
