Margot Karn

Recently Margot Karn passed away quite suddenly.
Margot was a non-artist member for many years.
She was the wife of Murray Karn. They were part of
the founding group of Southampton Artists back in
1987.

As some might recall, Murray developed Parkinsonism In
his later years and Margot took him in her care with
a most admirable devotion.

Margot was a sweet and compassionate woman. I
kept in touch with her and marveled at her selfless
nature. She was originally from war torn Germany.
I would like to note that Robbi Goldberg was of great
help to Margot who had no family here.

There will always be a place in my heart for Margot.
